Happy Ramadhan to all and may this month of inspiration filled with iman and taqwa. May Allah bless you and your entire family during this month as well as the rest of the year. AMIN (:
Today marks the first day of Ramadhan (fasting month). I’m delightful as today has come. This year’s fasting month is really different for me because I’ve got many sacrifices to give. Apart from last year where I have to sacrifice my time thoroughly on O levels, this year most of the time is spent on dance practices.
Well, my first day of fasting month is really testing me physically and mentally. Firstly, as I always thought I would wake up early after my morning breakfast (sahur), it just doesn’t happen. I woke up an hour later and got so tensed when the bloody bus took around 20 minutes to arrive. Thank god, I wasn’t really that late! The long hours of dance practice isn’t that bad as I tried to bear with it. But sadly, I couldn’t control myself with the vulgarities. It just flew from my mouth like idioms! Oh shucks, i just got so use to it. When some of them utter some vulgarities, I couldn’t help it but to utter it in my mind and so it really seems impossible for me now! Oh god, help me with that.
After such tiring practices, I headed home for break fast. Despite being physically fatigue, can you imagine how long I actually waited for the bus? Almost up to 45 mins! You would probably imagine how my face would be but as it is the fasting month, I controlled myself and acted normal. And again, some people are really inconsiderate to push me as they wanted to prevent me from boarding the bus first. He is just being selfish! Can’t he be a gentleman and gave me the chance to board the bus so I won’t be late to break my fast? Wah, my blood just boils up! But again, I tried controlling myself. I swear I couldn’t wait to get my bike license and never wish to board the bus in that kind of peak hour again.
Today, god really tests my patience. And I’m really happy that I passed it! Praying is the best way to calm one self ((:
take care love.
